Altidore made one huge error, IMO, when he didn’t meet Donovan on the cross at the goal early in the game. There were 2 ways that a goal could have been scored at that moment…by Landon himself, or on a cross to Altidore…the fact that Jozy wasn’t there to receive the cross was a major misstep on Altidore’s part.
